Our Team...
Ted is a native of Jackson County having grown up in Marianna. Decent grades
and athletic pursuits afforded Ted the opportunity to continue his education at
West Point (the United States Military Academy) upon graduation from high
school.
Upon graduation from West Point, Ted served as a helicopter pilot in the US
Army. He remains very appreciative of the men and women in uniform who serve our
country and defend the freedom's we enjoy as Americans.
After the Army, Ted worked in a professional sales capacity with Pfizer
Pharmaceuticals and as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch. A love of the
financial markets caused Ted to start his own trading career as an independent
equities trader which is how he made his living prior to his return to Marianna.
In January 2005 Ted came back home first as a teacher and coach at his old alma
mater, Marianna High School, and now, as a real estate sales professional with
old family friends, the Gauses, who he's known since childhood. It was very
important to Ted when he hung his hat with a real estate company that he do so
with people that he knew personally and trusted. He has not been disappointed.
We all have heard the 'doom and gloom' reports about how tough the real estate
market is at the moment. Ted prefers to look at the glass as half full - it is
an absolutely fabulous time to be buying NW Florida land and properties. The old
adage of "buy low and sell high" applies to real estate and stocks. The recent
correction in the real estate market has created a lot of buying opportunities
unavailable a few years ago. Whether you're an investor, a renovator, a first

energy and enthusiasm will help you get a good price for your home or land. Gerald Gause Gause and Associates Realty, Inc. was established in
1987 by Gerald Gause. He worked for Ray and Gloria Kirkland of Marianna as
an associate for years prior to taking his brokers exam and beginning his own
company. He has operated Gause and Associates continually since that time.
Gerald served on the Chipola Area Board of Realtors for 7 or 8 years in many
different capacities including president. In March 2007 Gerald sold the
company to his son, Lee, who has worked for him 20 years. Now he is a
broker/associate working with Lee. |
